Policies:


Deposit:   A deposit is required to reserve your date. This deposit must be received the day of reserving your rental to confirm your reservation. The deposit will be subtracted from your total balance due two weeks in advance. (We are accepting credit cards).  We can only tentatively hold your date 2 days from your initial call in order to be fair to others wishing to reserve the same date.

Set up:  Please make sure the area where you wish to place the bounce house is clear of debris and pet droppings.
              Generators if provide by us must be filled before return or $30.00 fee plus $5.00 processing fee will be charged.

Weather:  If the weather is not co-operating on the date you selected, we will gladly reschedule for a future date based on availability. As a safety precaution, if it is actively raining or storming we will not deliver or setup the unit. One of our representatives will contact you prior to delivering the equipment if the  weather is questionable. IF it begins to rain during your event: Unplug the blower and cover it while you let the inflatable deflate. Once the rain stops,
plug the blower back in and wipe down any wet surfaces to avoid slipping. The vinyl gets very slippery when wet.

Delivery:  We offer delivery services.  If you dont see your zip code on our website.  Please contact us for further details.  Upon delivery ~ a responsible adult must be present for set-up and safety instruction.

Pets:  Sorry pets and bounce houses don’t mix.  Please DO NOT allow your pets inside the bounce house. You will be responsible for damages incurred by your animals.

Safety Rules:   No food or drink, no shoes, no sharp objects, no visible metal zippers, no medical conditions including pregnancy, no  wrestling/roughhousing, no hanging on the netting, no flips, NO SILLY STRING and NO Sand.

Damages:  If there is a defect in the inflatable, there will be no charge. Depending on the situation, if the inflatable is damaged due to a preventable circumstance.. (example: dog chewed on it, someone cut it with a knife, or sharp object on clothes, or SILLY STRING), then a repair fee will be incurred.

Non-Profit Groups:  We gladly offer a discount on all our bounce house rentals to non-profit organizations.  Please contact us for price on the particular unit you are interested in.

Do I have to have the moonbounce delivered or can I pick it up myself?
We offer Full Service Delivery or you can  pick up at our Tunkhannock, Pa location.

Are your units clean?
Yes. All our units are sanitized prior to each use.

How much room do I need to set up?
You will need a minimum of a 5 ft perimeter surrounding the bounce area that is semi-level, clear of any rocks, sticks, roots, etc that
could puncture the inflatable bounce house.
Example: 15x15 Moonbounce would need a 20x20 area.

If you have an in-ground sprinkler system, make sure it is turned off and the sprinkler heads are not engaged. Also, you need to know if there are any Underground Utilities. Call your area providers & inquire at least 3 business days prior to your event, and they will send utility companies out to check for you.

How does the bounce stay inflated?
The bounce is inflated with a fully enclosed blower motor unit that must stay on the entire time the bounce unit is being used. The design of the blower is such that no moving parts are exposed. This is a very important safety feature that you should take into account whenever considering a rental. The blower unit must be located within 75 feet of an electrical outlet.
 
Can we set up the bounce on concrete or asphalt?
Yes, however for safety reasons, we prefer that the bounce be placed on a level, grassy area. An additional sandbag fee may apply.

How safe are moonbounces?
As long as the safety rules are followed, bounces are very safe. In fact, most accidents that arise from the use of moonbounces are a direct result of the renters not following the posted safety rules by allowing the unit to be overloaded, allowing the unit to be used in high winds, etc.
 
What if it is windy or rainy on the day of my event?
 If the forecast for Northeastern Pennsylvania is calling for high winds (> 15 MPH), or heavy rain on the morning of your reservation, we will contact you via phone to reschedule your reservation for another day. Rescheduling is based on availability for the new day requested. If you feel that rain or wind is a concern, please bring this to our attention PRIOR to us arriving at your location, or upon rescheduling another delivery fee will be imposed.  Bounce Party Rentals reserves the right to cancel a rental and reschedule that date due to bad weather.  

What do I do in the event that we receive unexpected rain or high winds (>15 MPH) during our rental?
It is important to remember that the bounce blower is powered by electricity and that electricity and water DO NOT mix. If rain is encountered, ask everyone to quickly & calmly exit the bounce house. Once it is emptied, unplug the blower & allow the unit to deflate. DO NOT USE THE UNIT IN HEAVY RAIN OR HIGH WINDS! Once the weather has passed, you can plug the blower back in, allow the unit to inflate and have an adult dry the interior with a towel. This is very important, as the vinyl is very slippery when wet. Once dry, the bounce can be utilized again.
